Simple Studies: Just So Stories
A Charlotte Mason Literature handbook for K-6 students.

A simple yet joyful way to introduce students to Just So Stories, a 1902 collection of origin stories by the British author Rudyard Kipling. Each of the 12 short lessons offers a reading from the original text, a prompt for narration, dictation sentences and art opportunities along with a list of picture books for younger children and ideas for further study for older students.

With Simple Studies: Just So Stories, students cover narration, dictation, animal science, biology, history, folk tales, handwriting, animal behavior, nature study, literature, art and more all while you simply read aloud.

Older students are prompted to use field guides and to create original drawings in their nature journals as well as use the dictation sentences and a few optional activities.
