1) The Children’s Book of Heroes by William J. Bennett. For Lessons 1 – 17. (Check your local library. There are also many used copies floating around online)

2 ) Fifty Famous Stories Retold by James Baldwin For Lessons 18 – 36. Free audio version available on Librivox: see below)
