Form 3 Guide (Grades 7 - 8)
“I got your form 3 guide. Thanks for organizing so well. I was having a hard time using Ambleside online and figuring out which year to place my kids. I feel your guide keeps the book more age appropriate. And brought me so much peace.” – Heidy B.

This comprehensive 65-page guide is meticulously crafted to support homeschool parents in delivering a simple yet rich and engaging curriculum that aligns with Mason's principles.
Inside these pages you’ll not only find countless modern living book ideas and recommendations, curricula, and online resources for middle school students but also the profound understanding of the "why" behind the Charlotte Mason method for each subject.
Over the years, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars seeking simple Form Guides and instructions… I’ve also spent hours researching the many free resources online. This is my effort to combine many of those incredible resources into one simple resource for you.
At this stage, emphasis is placed on advanced reading and narrations, the introduction of commonplace books, composition and dictation, grammar, and mathematics including Algebra and Geometry. The curriculum spans across three streams of history, literature, geography, natural history (science), art, music, poetry, and more. It integrates subjects like picture and composer study, Shakespeare, Citizenship and Plutarch, and new to Form 3 students, Architecture studies.
This guide not only simplifies homeschool planning but also offers a cohesive framework to explore and leverage the wealth of resources available to us today.
For homeschool parents committed to providing a customizable Charlotte Mason-inspired education, this guide serves as a valuable companion to help you explore ideas, simplify your plans and enrich your Form 3 student’s education for their entire life.
